In a National Marine Park
in Mozambique, lies an Archipelago of off shore islands
known as The Bazaruto Archipelago. There
are three main islands known as Margaruque, Benguerra and
Bazaruto. On the second largest island, Benguerra lies idyllic
Marlin Lodge.
Marlin Lodge has 14 luxury en suite 80sqm chalets that
stretch along the beach of Flamingo Bay. Each sea-facing
chalet has a private patio with a walkway down to the beach.
In addition there are 3 Executive Beach Suites all 110sqm in size and which boast a private sunning deck.
The wood-reed-and-thatch chalets are a blend of elegance
and African beauty. Decorated with a hue of creams,
browns, and slight blues, the chalets reflect luxury and
comfort.
The elegant elevated wooden structures
snakes along the back of the chalets, connecting them to
the main area and is beautifully integrated into the sensitive
Island environment.
The centerpiece is a living-dining area
where one can retreat from the African sun.
A new spacious pool is set in a glade of coconut and
ilala palms, perfect for a day of relaxing and tropical cocktails.
Upon occasion lunch is served here which creates an African
Island setting.
Marlin Beach Lodge is favoured by sport
fishermen, offering world class deep sea fishing and salt-water
fly fishing. The Lodge has a range of superb fishing equipment
and tackle for the use by Guests.
Marlin lodge is the perfect honeymoon destination,
with a warm atmosphere to enjoy this occasion. Honeymoon
extras include an African style bush bath, sarong for the
bride, T-shirt for the groom, Sparkling wine upon arrival,
and an African fruit basket.
Marlin Lodge cuisine is a colourful and
exotic delight with an array of seafood flavours being the
order of the day. Meals range from semi-formal affairs in
the dining room to casual beach buffets. Dinners are sumptuous
occasions every
night.
